Daranee Roberts Woshipful Master.png

Daranee L. Roberts Sr. was born in Brunswick Georgia on November 8, 1974. Originally from Waverly Georgia, he attended Woodbine Elementary, Camden Middle, and Camden County High School. After graduating from Brunswick High School in 1993, Daranee joined the United States Navy in 1994 and got forward deployed to Japan where he was stationed aboard the Aircraft Carriers USS Independence and USS Kitty Hawk. In 2001, he would return to the United States and serve aboard the USS Ogden, an LPD located at Naval Base 32nd St. in San Diego California.

 

 

After serving 9 years in the Navy, Daranee decided to reside in San Diego and later became employed with Hyatt Hotels in 2004 where he worked as a HVAC technician for 6 years. In 2010 he accepted a Maintenance Engineering position at Sycuan Casino and 2 years later was promoted to Maintenance Engineer Supervisor. This would be his place of employment for the next 9 years until leaving to go work for the County of San Diego in June of 2020 as a Building Maintenance Engineer where he is currently employed.

 

In 2016, Daranee became a member of Fidelity Lodge #10 which is under the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge Free and Accepted Masons of the State of California. Since becoming a Prince Hall Mason he has served as Senior Steward, Junior Deacon, Junior and Senior Warden and now currently is the Worshipful Master. Daranee is heavily involved in other masonic bodies, such as the York Rite, Scottish Rite, Nobles of the Mystic Shrine and the Order of the Eastern Stars. Daranee L. Roberts is married to Sistar Cheryl L. Roberts and has three boys, Paul and Creg Cooper and Daranee L. Roberts Jr. During his leisure he enjoys family, cooking, and giving back to the community.
